Popular Betting Markets Explained

New to sports betting? These are the market types you will meet on almost every event. Understanding them before staking money is the single best way to avoid placing bets you didn't intend.

In-play betting: three practical tips

  • Odds move fast. Live prices update every few seconds and bets may be accepted at a changed price — review the slip before confirming.
  • Beware the cricket lag. TV broadcasts run seconds behind the actual play; the odds already know what you are about to see.
  • Pre-decide your stake. In-play invites impulse betting — fix your stake and market before the match starts, not during an over.

Accumulators deserve a special word: the multiplied odds look attractive, and express bets are also how the lighter sports bonus wagering is completed — but every added leg multiplies the chance of the whole bet losing. Two or three well-chosen legs are generally more sensible than eight hopeful ones.

Quick games

Alongside the casino and sportsbook, the platform typically carries fast-format "quick games" — most famously the crash game Aviator, plus titles like Lucky Jet and JetX. Rounds last seconds and stakes start low, which makes discipline matter even more; our Aviator guide covers how they work and how to manage risk.
